A narrow strip of land less than 500 miles from north to south, Togo has, nevertheless, a great variety of landscapes from the fine sand beaches lined with coconuts palms along the Gulf of Guinea in the south, to savannah dotted with baobabs in the north, via verdant valleys, mountains and abundant tropical forests. Togo, bordered by Burkino Faso, Benin and Ghana is a mosaic of warmly welcoming peoples and rich traditions. It is country you can visit with the family, stay in hotels, under canvass or with the locals.
